Paper Plate Watermelon

Summer is the time for watermelons. Here’s an easy project for young crafters that is sure to make them smile.

Supplies:

• Paper Plate
• Paints – Pink, green, light green, black and white

Instructions:

Fold paper plate in half.

Paint the wavy ridge of the paper plate green.

Paint a smaller line of lighter green just inside of the ridge.

Paint the inside of the watermelon pink.

Paint small little tear shapes out of black to simulate the seeds.

Highlight one side of the seed with a splash of white.
